DPC tackles new guidelines and 2022 plans

NVDRRMC Resolution No. 15-s2021 that constitutes the four DRRM Thematic Clusters, identifies their respective memberships, and defines their individual and collective functions was presented by CAO-III King Webster Balaw-ing.

AA-IV Nicole L. Gimarino explained the amended guidelines on Pre-Disaster Risk Assessment (PDRA) as highlighted under NVDRRMC Memorandum Circular No. 63-s2021.

The members of the newly constituted Disaster Preparedness Cluster (DPC) were also apprised by Mr. Balaw-ing on the FY2022 Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Fund Investment Program (LDRRMFIP) composed of the current year’s LDRRMF, continuing Capital Outlays, and Special Trust Fund.

PDRRM Officer Robert L. Corpuz, who presided over this maiden meeting of the DPC held on 01 March 2022 at the NV Livelihood and Pasalubong Center in Magsaysay, Bayombong, clarified certain issues and concerns raised by cluster members, such as the implications of the National ID System, including those pertaining to the recent executive issuances and plans presented by Mr. Balaw-ing and Ms. Gimarino.
