DILG team assesses PGNV’s SGLG performance

A Regional Assessment Team of governance focal persons headed by Engr. Maria Loida M. Urmatam, Provincial Director, DILG-NV, and Mr. Elpidio A. Durwin, Asst. Regional Director, DILG-R02, came to the province on May 16, 2022 to check on the status of the Provincial Government of Nueva Vizcaya (PGNV) vis-a-vis the performance indicators set for the 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG).

Provincial Administrator Maybelle Dumlao-Sevillena who represented Governor Carlos M. Padilla in the said activity led the PGNV’s key officers interviewed by members of the DILG Team.

According to PA Sevillena, the PGNV’s participating personnel were clustered based on the SGLG’s ten (10) major governance assessment areas, namely:

  1. Financial administration and sustainability;
  2. Disaster preparedness;
  3. Social protection and sensitivity;
  4. Sustainable education;
  5. Health compliance and responsiveness;
  6. Business-friendliness and competitiveness;
  7. Safety, peace and order;
  8. Environmental management;
  9. Tourism, heritage development, culture and the arts; and
  10. Youth development.
