DDH Expands its Services with Hiring of New Specialists

The Dupax District Hospital (DDH), one of the PLGU-managed hospitals in the province, located in Dupax del Norte has hired new medical specialists and expanded its surgical services. DDH will also avail of the services of new internist and pediatrician soon, to augment the 112 employees of the hospital.

Now that the DDH have an OB-Gynecologist and Anesthesiologist, the hospital now offers bilateral tubal ligation, ovarian cyst removal, myoma treatment, caesarian section and implant insertion or removal.

The DDH, headed by Dr. Simplicio P. Daran, Chief of Hospital II, will also have its own dialysis center soon. With a budget of around P3 million, the dialysis center is 90% completed and will soon serve patients with kidney problems.

“Once our dialysis center opens, it will lessen the burden of our fellow Novo Vizcayanos to travel far for medical check-ups. They will also know about our other services and see how committed and dedicated DDH employees are,” Dr. Daran said.

“We highly appreciate the provincial government, under the leadership of Governor Jose V. Gambito, for the support given to DDH, enhancing our services and ensuring that our fellow citizens get high-quality healthcare services,” Dr. Daran added. /bglorenzo
