PGNV turns over another set of MPVs to 15 barangays

On January 20, 2025, Governor Atty. Jose V. Gambito, along with Vice Governor Eufemia A. Dacayo and the members of Sangguniang Panlalawigan, turned over 15 multi-purpose vehicles to 15 various barangays at the People’s stage, Capitol, Bayombong.

This turnover of multipurpose vehicles is to augment disaster response capabilities and community needs by providing service and rescue vehicles to the beneficiary barangays. The governor’s administration has focused on improving infrastructure, including upgrading vehicles, to ensure a quicker, more effective response to emergencies in the province.

The 15 beneficiary barangays are: Brgy. Quirino (Bagabag), Brgy. Bugnay, Brgy. Villa Florentino, Brgy. San Pablo, Brgy. Nagsabaran, Brgy. Langka (Diadi), Brgy. Abaca, Brgy. Bagumbayan, Brgy. Sta. Maria (Dupax del Sur), Brgy. Runruno, Brgy. Baresbes (Quezon), Brgy. New Gumiad (Dupax del Norte), Brgy. Nagcuartelan (Aritao), Brgy. Dullao (Bambang), and the Association of Barangay Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (Sta. Fe).

Governor Gambito is known for his commitment to innovation through various provincial projects and programs aimed at improving the lives of Novo Vizcayanos. These initiatives include infrastructure upgrades, mobile hospitals, the 911 hotline, free “WiFi ti Umili,” “Silaw ti Umili,” “Dara ti Umili,” and “Dalan ti Umili.” Additionally, the governor has focused on enhancing barangay facilities, such as providing multi-purpose vehicles to help meet local needs.

Governor Gambito emphasized the importance of unity and responsible vehicle use: “I am a generous Governor and believe that unity is key to progress. Take good care of these vehicles so we can serve our people efficiently.”

By approving these requests, Governor Gambito continues his vision of modernization for the province, making it more convenient, accessible, and livable for all Novo Vizcayanos.
