The Nueva Vizcayan Provincial Tourism Council (NVPTC), chaired by former Governor Ruth R. Padilla, held its 3rd Regular Meeting at the Paniqui Hall, Gov. Patricio Dumlao Executive Building, Capitol Compound, Bayombong.

The council discussed various tourism concerns including a brief presentation on the Accomplishment Report of the Grand Ammungan Festival 2024 (GAF 2024) by Ms. Brenna Rose L. Yaban, GAF 2024 Secretariat.

Hon. Eunice Galima-Gambol, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Committee Chairperson on Tourism, Culture and Arts, manifested during the meeting that the council pass a resolution, which was unanimously approved, commending Mrs. Padilla for her exemplary performance as Director General of the highly successful GAF 2024.

Ms. Marichelle O. Costales, Provincial Tourism and Culture officer also informed the council that the province will be hosting the Region 2 Cagayan Valley Regional Tourism Council Assembly (CVRTC) Annual General Assembly and Tourism Expo on September 27, 2024, and that preparations for the event is underway. /lag
