The awarding ceremony, held on August 23, 2024, at The Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park, Manila, served as a platform to recognize and celebrate the relentless efforts of local government units (LGUs) in driving progress and innovation within their communities.

Governor Atty. Jose V. Gambito expressed his pride and satisfaction over the province’s achievements. “This recognition is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our local leaders, public servants, and the entire community of Nueva Vizcaya. We have shown that through collective effort, unity, and innovative governance, we can achieve significant progress and improve the quality of life for our citizens,” Governor Gambito stated. “Unity has always been our advocacy and the key to our progress. We will continue to strive for excellence and build on this momentum to create a more competitive and resilient province.”

The CMCI rankings are based on the sum of scores across five pillars: Economic Dynamism, Government Efficiency, Infrastructure, resilience, and Innovation. Provincial rankings are determined by population and income-weighted averages of the overall scores of cities and municipalities within a province. /rmi
