In an effort to ensure reliable healthcare services across Nueva Vizcaya, the provincial government has provided two brand-new ambulances, each valued at three million pesos, to Dupax District Hospital and Kasibu Municipal Hospital. The turnover ceremony, held this morning, was led by Governor Atty. Jose V. Gambito alongside members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
The ceremonial awarding of keys was conducted with Dr. Simplicio Daran, Chief of Hospital at Dupax District Hospital (DDH), and Dr. Lucena Laliray Caldito from Kasibu Municipal Hospital (KMH), receiving the ambulances on behalf of their respective institutions.
Provincial Health Officer Dr. Anthony Cortez highlighted that the newly acquired ambulances are fully equipped for emergency transport purposes. Each vehicle comes complete with essential medical equipment, including oxygen tanks, defibrillators, and a supply of emergency medicines, ensuring that they are ready to handle critical situations.
Governor Gambito emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, “This is part of our commitment to providing quality healthcare services to all Vizcayanos. We are dedicated to ensuring that our hospitals are equipped to respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, especially in remote areas where every second counts.”
This initiative underscores the provincial government’s dedication to enhancing healthcare accessibility and response capabilities in Nueva Vizcaya.
