The Nueva Vizcaya Police Provincial Office (NVPPO), led by Officer In-Charge PCol. Jectopher D. Haloc, extended their full support to Governor Atty. Jose V. Gambito during a traditional New Year’s courtesy call on January 13. The meeting highlighted the police’s commitment to programs aimed at fostering a progressive and vibrant environment for the residents of Nueva Vizcaya.
During the courtesy call, PCol. Haloc proudly reported the accomplishments of the Nueva Vizcaya police force, particularly in achieving peace and order in the province. Notably, he emphasized the recent voluntary surrender of members of Communist terrorist groups, indicating a significant decline in their strength and support from the local community.
Governor Gambito expressed his gratitude for the police’s efforts, stating, “I am deeply thankful to our police force for their relentless dedication to maintaining peace and order in our province. Their hard work is evident in the growing safety that our citizens now experience. Because of this stable environment, we are now better positioned to attract investors to Nueva Vizcaya, which will ultimately lead to more opportunities for our people and contribute to our province’s growth and prosperity.”
The New Year’s Call is a long-standing tradition within the uniformed services, allowing leaders to demonstrate courtesy and loyalty to their commanders. It serves as a vital opportunity for the organization to reaffirm its commitment to the nation and its authorities at the beginning of each year.
