Celebrating the 16th Grand Ammungan Festival (GAF) with cheers from the full house audience at the Carlos M Padilla Convention Center as Miss Karen Mae Guieb of Bagabag was crowned Saniata ti Nueva Vizcaya 2025.
The pageant, a crowd drawing highlight of the province’s annual festival, showcased the wit and beauty of Vizcaya’s finest. Miss Guieb stood out among the 15 candidates not only for her stunning beauty but also for her intelligence, qualities that earned her “Gandang Novo Vizcayano” special award and the heart of the masses.
As promised by Governor Atty. Jose V. Gambito of better innovations and surprises for the 16th GAF, the newly crowned Saniata ti Nueva Vizcaya signed a contract with the provincial government stipulating her duties as the reigning ambassadress for Nueva Vizcaya’s heritage and values promoting tourism, culture and youth empowerment while receiving a monthly incentive until the end of her reign.
Also crowned were Saniata ti Bayombong, Miss Clarita Ezperanza Dichitan – 1st runner up; Saniata ti Aritao, Miss Alliah Bernabe 2nd runner-up; Saniata ti Dupax del Norte, Miss Princess Almuete- 3rd runner-up; and Saniata ti Diadi. Miss Micah Angela Sicat-4th runner-up.
Meanwhile, Ms. Marichelle Q. Costales, Provincial Tourism Officer and Director General (DG) of the 16th GAF, was applauded for her excellent leadership during the 3-day festival. She humbly acknowledged that she could not have done it alone without the support of Ms. Rhoda S. Moreno, Provincial Treasurer/Asst. DG for Events; Ms. Virginia N. Iglesias, Provincial Budget Officer /Assistant DG for Finance; and Ms. Kathyleen O. Marcelo, Provincial Gen. Services Officer/ Asst. DG for Administration. . She also expressed her gratitude to Gov. Gambito for his support to all GAF committees. /gpp
