KMH and PHRMO collabs outreach program

The Kasibu Municipal Hospital (KMH) headed by Dr. Lucena Laliray P. Caldito, and the Provincial Human Resource Management Office (PHRMO) headed by Dr. Ma. Carla Lucia M. Torralba, collaborated in their outreach programs in Capisaan, Kasibu on March 17, 2025.

In celebration of Women’s Month, KMH recognized the Mun-abol Loom Weavers of Capisaan for their exceptional craftsmanship and dedication to preserving our rich cultural heritage with every thread. The traditional loom-weaving techniques, passed down through generations by indigenous peoples (IPs), offer a sustainable approach to fashion by utilizing locally sourced materials. Crafted with care, creativity, and identity, each woven piece embodies the dedication and effort of these women weavers. Their hands do more than weave fabric—they weave history and culture.

A recognition program was held at the KMH function hall showcasing and promoting the Mun-abol Weavers’ products to prospect buyers. The Mun-abol women received tokens like t-shirts, umbrella, vitamins and other things.

After the program, KMH and PHRMO contingent proceeded to Barangay Capisaan to extend PHRMO’s donations to the Capisaan Day Care Center such as toys, reading materials, swing, slide, and other things for use of the children at the center. Despite the busy days at the office, the PHRMO and KMH are just few of the other PGNV offices that still find time to conduct community outreach programs in various places/communities in the province. /bgl/shellasilva
