Witnessing the formal blessing and inauguration of its completed facilities on April 7, 2025 the Lower Magat Eco-Tourism (LMET) Park, Diadi, will surely draw not only profits but increased attention from nature lovers, local tourists, and eco-advocates since its establishment.
Spearheaded by the Provincial Tourism and Culture Office, headed by Acting PTC Officer Marichelle O. Costales, said infrastructure project was initially conceptualized under the administration of former Governor Ruth R. Padilla. Despite delays caused by unforeseen issues during implementation, the project was finally completed and officially turned over under the leadership of incumbent Governor Jose V. Gambito.
Former Governor Ruth R. Padilla who have always acknowledged the efforts of all stakeholders who helped overcome the challenges that delayed the project’s completion graced the event still very hopeful that the facilities will not be just structures but investments for the province of Nueva Vizcaya.
In his administration, Governor Atty. Jose V. “Jing” Gambito has consistently aligned his vision with LMET functions, advocating sustainable development, community empowerment, and environmental preservation. It exemplifies his principle of being a wise economist by turning government assets into revenue-generating and socially responsible ventures. LMET has helped position Nueva Vizcaya on the tourism map, with its scenic nature walks that showcase the park’s rich flora and fauna. An experience that raises environmental awareness and supports community livelihood and sustainable development.
To further boost its amenities, the provincial government has officially held the blessing and inauguration of LMET’s Conference Hall, Multi-Purpose Building, and a big Swimming Pool—facilities that have already been functional in past months. #gpp
