The LGTT was created as required by Executive Order No. 79 Series of 2025 and DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2025-016, which direct all LGUs to form transition teams to ensure good governance and continuous public service.
The meeting was led by OIC-Provincial Administrator Jovito O. Celestino and Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator Edgardo D. Sabado, with department heads, partner agencies, CSO representatives, and DILG personnel providing guidance on the transition process.
Governor-elect Jose V. Gambito emphasized the importance of the joint oath-taking, saying, “This simultaneous oath-taking ceremony stands as a powerful symbol of unity for our province. I have always been an advocate of unity, believing it is the key to progress. Now is the time to set aside our political differences, come together, and work as one for the continued development and prosperity of Nueva Vizcaya.”
The LGTT’s efforts are expected to guarantee a smooth transfer of duties and continued delivery of services to the people of Nueva Vizcaya as the new officials officially assume their posts at the end of the month. /RMI
