Governor Atty. Jose V. Gambito expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Almighty for sparing the province of Nueva Vizcaya from the severe damage ca9used by Typhoon Kristine, which recently hit Luzon. During his message at Monday’s Flag Raising Ceremony, Gov. Gambito highlighted the divine protection that shielded their province.
“While other areas in Luzon suffered significant damage from the typhoon, our province experienced only minimal impact, both in infrastructure and agriculture,” Gov. Gambito stated. He further mentioned that the rains brought by the typhoon were actually beneficial to the agricultural sector, as the province experienced only light to moderate rainfall.
Gov. Gambito extended his gratitude to all government employees and volunteers who continued their work despite the storm, ensuring the safety of every Novo Vizcayano. “We should now switch to work mode after 3 days of work suspension,” Gambito urged. He encouraged everyone to refocus their efforts and continue with their responsibilities, emphasizing the importance of returning to normalcy and rebuilding momentum in the community. “Let us come together and work diligently to maintain the progress and resilience our province has shown,” he added.
