A meeting of the Grand Ammungan Festival 2025 – Admin Sector was held in the Ituy Function Hall, Executive Building, Capitol Compound, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya, on February 10, 2025. The various organizational committees were quick to provide updates on their tasks and duties for the Grand Ammungan Festival 2025.
The meeting was presided over by Ms. Kathyleen D. Marcelo, Assistant Director-General for Administration. The finest details of the celebration were discussed and planned for to guarantee the smoothest possible event, such as accommodations for the VIPs, working ushers, vendors, food provision and procurement, and stationery work such as awards, certification, programs, and invitations. The technical and venue aspects were also discussed, such as sounds and lights, stage and venue direction, ecological waste management, among others.
The Admin sector continues to use the previous year’s celebration as a guide for the potential weaknesses and problem areas in planning and execution, with concerns about security, the flow of events, and refreshments during the main activities being paramount. While in need of further consideration, tentative plans were made as measures against intruders and overcrowding, with the solution of cordoning off certain areas proposed during the meeting.
With the Grand Ammungan Festival 2025 being three months out and having been recently officialized as the provincial festival, the provincial government, under the rule of Governor Atty. Jose V. Gambito, and particularly the Admin sector are hard at work crafting the celebration for the benefit and enjoyment of prospective tourists and all Novo Vizcayanos. /igmb
