
The Dupax District Hospital (DDH), a government-run healthcare facility under the Provincial Government of Nueva Vizcaya, under the leadership of Governor Atty. Jose V. Gambito, continues to provide medical services to residents, maintaining its commitment to accessible, quality health care for all.
Operating from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon during Saturdays, the hospital offers regular consultation hours in general medicine, general pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology (OB-Gyne), and minor surgical procedures as needed. Unlike other government hospitals, DDH holds outpatient consultations even on Saturdays. Although the health facility is closed for regular consultations on Sundays and holidays, it remains fully operational for emergency cases to ensure immediate medical attention when needed.
Visiting hours for confined patients are scheduled from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, allowing family members and relatives ample time to offer support during recovery.
To ensure continuous medical care, DDH operates 24/7 services for emergency ambulance response, laboratory diagnostics, pharmacy, radiologic examinations, and electrocardiogram (ECG) services. These round-the-clock services ensure that even after consultation hours, critical care remains accessible to the public.
Additional specialized services include Newborn Screening, which is available for in-patients within 24 hours after delivery, and for out-patients Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Dental Services offered Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
With 114 workforce, the hospital is headed by Dr. Simplicio P. Daran, Chief of Hospital, DDH continues to prioritize health sector development. Governor Gambito’s administration remains steadfast in expanding health programs, improving medical infrastructure, and strengthening human resources to provide responsive and inclusive health care services throughout the province. /gpp
