Former Governor Ruth R. Padilla, Council Chairperson of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Nueva Vizcaya Chapter (BSP-NV) and concurrent Vice Chairperson of the North Eastern Luzon Region, convened her fellow scouting leaders on November 09, 2022 at the Provincial Capitol to tackle pressing issues raised by certain national government agencies.

Also joining them was Governor Carlos M. Padilla who discussed the request of the Philippine Army’s 203rd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion headed by Maj Flodemonte S. Gerdan, a former 3-term Board Member, to use a portion of the BSP Jamboree site in Brgy. Masoc, Bayombong for their group’s activities.

As regards administrative concerns, Provincial Administrator Maybelle Dumlao-Sevillena committed to create a chat group facility that will serve as an avenue for information sharing among the Council members, and to help in expediting the signing of the agreed Council resolutions.

Highlighting the meeting was the handing over of medals and certificates from the BSP National Office to the following members by Council Chairperson Padilla who was accompanied by former Board Member and Council Vice Chairperson Santiago O. Dickson and Council Scout Executive Edwin N. Mutug:
*Gold Medal of Merit: Mr. Romulo S. Ancheta;
