
The Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Employees Association (NVPEA) celebrates its 31st Founding Anniversary and General Assembly on April 24, 2025 at the Carlos M. Padilla Convention Center with the theme “United in Service, Committed to Excellence: Strengthening Bonds for a Progressive Nueva Vizcaya.”
Highlights of the program included the reading and approval of the 2024 General Assembly minutes, followed by the presentation and ratification of the Treasurer’s Report, which showed the current total income of ₱1.9 million for the association.Under new business, members approved key financial initiatives, including:a proposed additional investment of ₱2 million to the Nueva Vizcaya Agricultural Terminal (NVAT); the opening of a trust fund at the Philippine National Bank (PNB) for the retirement benefits of NVPEA members; and the withdrawal of the 2022 agency fee, with a stipulation that the amount will be held in trust by NVPEA.
During the open forum, questions and concerns from members were addressed thoroughly by NVPEA President Jolina P. Cammbas, with additional clarifications and support provided by Treasurer Marilou C. Castillo.
Nueva Vizcaya Governor Jose V. Gambito graced the event with a special message expressing his satisfaction upon hearing the positive feedback from the clientele regarding the services of the provincial government employees to the public. “Masaya ako sa nakikita kong kasiyahan ng mga kliyente sa ating mga serbisyo. Hangga’t ako ang gobernador, magpapatuloy ang pagbibigay ng maayos at dekalidad na serbisyo ng mga empleyado ng PLGU,” Gov. Gambito assured.
Meeting with the members and officers of the association, Pres. Cambas has only good words of encouraging members to be cooperative and get involved. # gpp
