As part of the pre-Ammungan Festival 2025 activities, the Provincial Government of Nueva Vizcaya, under the leadership of Governor Atty. Jose V. Gambito, in partnership with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), launched a Mobile Servicing Program to bring the most important PRC services closer to professionals and residents in the province.
Held at the Carlos M. Padilla Convention Center, the mobile servicing initiative allowed hundreds of professionals and aspiring license holders to avail of various PRC services — including license renewals, application assistance, certification/authentication, petition for change of status and correction of entries, documentation requests , without the need to travel to distant regional offices. Hundreds of professionals from various fields—including teachers, nurses, engineers, criminologists, among others—flocked to the event, appreciating the convenience of not having to travel to regional offices outside the province for routine transactions. For many, the mobile servicing saved both time and cost, especially for those residing in far-flung areas.
Gov. Gambito emphasized the importance of this initiative, saying: “I have seen the sacrifices of our professionals and residents who travel long distances just to access PRC services. That is why I thought of establishing an off-site service center — to bring these essential services closer to you and ease the burden of going to regional offices.”
He reiterated that this initiative is part of his broader vision to provide accessible, people-centered governance: under his leadership, the province has adopted strong partnership with national agencies to decentralize essential services and support local development.
“This is another step in making government services more efficient and responsive to your needs. As your governor, I will continue to find ways to make life more convenient and prosperous for all Vizcayanos,” Gov. Gambito said.
The PRC Mobile Servicing is one of the many service-oriented programs scheduled ahead of the Grand Ammungan Festival 2025 which will continue for the next two days to cater to the increasing number of clients, especially those preparing for board exams or renewing their licenses. /gpp
