To successfully pass the GFH, local government units (LGUs) must meet stringent criteria, including obtaining a qualified or unqualified opinion in the most recent report from the Commission on Audit (COA). Additionally, full compliance with the Full Disclosure Policy (FDP) is mandatory. This involves the timely posting of required financial documents in conspicuous places and on the FDP portal, ensuring that financial information is accessible to the public.
The consistent success of Nueva Vizcaya in the GFH assessment highlights the province’s proactive approach to financial governance and its commitment to fostering trust and confidence among its constituents.
