Gov. Gambito leads 1st Quarter Man Con

Gov. Atty. Jose V. Gambito, along with office heads of the Provincial Government of Nueva Vizcaya (PGNV), led the First Quarter Management Conference (Man Con) at the Ammungan Hall, Capitol Compound, Bayombong. The event brought together key government officials to review and discuss the province’s ongoing projects and initiatives.

During the meeting, the office heads under Gov. Gambito’s administration focused on the current status of procurement for infrastructure, goods, and the implementation of various programs and projects. The group also took time to assess the physical progress of offices’ accomplishments to ensure that all planned activities were moving forward as scheduled.

“I am truly grateful to all of you because, without your support and hard work, I couldn’t have done it alone. When I was just the Vice Governor, Nueva Vizcaya was not widely recognized. But now, our province is gaining more recognition, and that is something we should all be proud of. So, I extend my heartfelt thanks to all the government employees,” Gov. Gambito said.

In addition to the status updates, Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Voltaire Garcia delivered an important presentation on the prohibited acts during the election period from January 12- June 11, 2025. His insights were crucial in ensuring that all provincial offices and personnel were well-informed about the legal restrictions in place during the lead-up to the upcoming elections.

Moreover, Acting Provincial Tourism and Culture Officer, Marichelle O. Costales shared the proposed activities for the much-anticipated 2025 Ammungan Festival, which promises to be a highlight of the province’s cultural calendar.

The first quarter Man Con served as a key platform for collaboration, planning, and making sure that all projects and programs are on track for the year ahead. The event marked another step toward a productive year under the leadership of Gov. Gambito for the provincial government of Nueva Vizcaya. /jmcb
