The Provincial Government headed by Gov. Atty. Jose V. Gambito together with the Provincial Social Welfare Development (PSWD) led the pay out of Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) for the senior citizens of Tiblac and Poblacion, Ambaguio on July 25, 2024.
The payout was awarded by former Governor Ruth Padilla and Governor Gambito to the senior citizens of Ambaguio in Tiblac and Poblacion. Board Member Patricio Dumlao was also present in the said awarding together with the other group of PSWD as the event was done simultaneously in both locations.
A total of 680 beneficiaries, 237 from Tiblac and Dulli, and 443 from Salingsingan, Poblacion and Labang, all in the municipality of Ambaguio received P4,000 each.
The AICS payout was sourced out from the fund of HS Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez and was downloaded to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
The AICS or Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation is one of the social welfare services of DSWD which is a kind of social safety net or emergency plan designed to help people in terms of medical assistance, burial, transportation, education, food, or financial needs of a person or family. The provincial government through Gov. Gambito’s administration works hand in hand with the DSWD ensuring the distribution of cash assistance to our Novo Vizcayano senior citizens. /jmcb
