The Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) of Nueva Vizcaya has brought its flagship “Serbisyo Karaban” to Barangay Calitlitan on July 28, 2026, delivering integrated government services straight to residents right at their doorstep.
This unified service mission is led by the Provincial Government of Nueva Vizcaya under Governor Atty. Jose V. Gambito, the Municipal Government of Aritao under Mayor Remelina Peros Galam, and Barangay Calitlitan led by Captain John B. Gamboa. Partner agencies include DILG, PNP, LTO, TESDA, DTI, DPWH, DSWD, DA, DepEd, NBI, Philippine Army, PSA, DOLE, and the Region II Trauma and Medical Center (R2TMC).
Also joining the effort are civic groups: Free Masonry, Order of Amaranth, and Rotary Club Area 5 District 3770. Congressman Atty. Timothy Joseph Cayton likewise relayed his message of support through his representative.
The activity offers medical, dental, and laboratory services, ophthalmology services provided by the LGU of Aritao, distribution of vegetables, tree seedlings, and organic fertilizer, provision of planting materials, vitamins, and medicines, legal services and counseling, assistance for barangay business enterprise registration, release of motorcycle plates, national ID processing, promotion of the e Gov PH platform, school based road safety seminars, processing of police and NBI clearances, and distribution of school supplies by the Rotary Club Area 5 District 3770, along with various other forms of assistance from participating agencies, offices, and organizations.
As PPOC Focal Person, Provincial Warden SF04 Carmelo B. Andrada, Ret., stated that this outreach embodies the council’s commitment to linking peace and order with accessible public service, explaining that bringing government closer to communities strengthens trust, unity, and collective security across the province. He added that the active participation of agencies and civic groups shows that serving the people is a shared responsibility, and the PPOC will continue to bring the “Serbisyo Karaban” to more barangays to ensure no one is left behind.
Mayor Remelina Peros Galam expressed deep gratitude to the PPOC, all participating agencies, and private sector partners for bringing the service caravan to Calitlitan, noting that the initiative ensures no resident is left behind and that help reaches every community in the municipality. Barangay Captain John B. Gamboa also conveyed his appreciation, stating that having all these services available locally saves residents time and travel costs while affirming that the people of Calitlitan are not forgotten. With all services accessible in one venue, the “Serbisyo Karaban” upholds a whole of community approach to bring responsive public service closer to the people while advancing peace, order, and development across Nueva Vizcaya. #mccd
