The Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (PROCEDE) through Ms. Juditte L. Asuncion, Provincial Cooperative Affairs Officer, presented its key achievements for the first half of 2026 during the regular flag‑raising ceremony on July 13, 2026 at the People’s Stage, Capitol, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.

First Semester 2026 key accomplishments of the PROCEDE included mentoring 31 livelihood-focused MSMEs (72% of target), providing guidance to 30 cooperatives and associations, conducting a technology mission, and delivering four training sessions for 114 participants. The Gawang Vizcayano Trade Fair during the Grand Ammungan Festival generated sales of ₱3,281,620.92.

Additionally, four Kadiwa ng Pangulo trade fairs achieved combined sales of ₱418,892, and the OTOP Hub recorded ₱73,122 in sales. Mentoring 46 CAEs (57% of target) achieved a satisfaction rating of 4.99/5, and three PLGU Cooperative on Wheels outreach programs were rated 4.85/5. The first-ever Governor’s Sustainability Awards featured a business pitching contest participated in by accredited cooperatives in the province.

Ongoing projects include pre‑feasibility studies for a modern rice processing facility and developments at Bagabag Airport, receiving free technical guidance from Catalyste+ Canadian experts. Governor Atty. Jose V. Gambito also signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Food Terminal Inc. for the P20 Rice initiative.

Ms. Asuncion also took the opportunity to introduce the newly promoted employees at the PROCEDE: Imelda Yaban, Supervising Cooperative Development Specialist; Abegail Dulay, Management and Audit Analyst II; and Rochelle D. Torres, Administrative Officer I.

In closing, the PROCEDE Office pledged continued support for cooperatives, small businesses, and farmers to build a more inclusive, resilient Nueva Vizcaya. #mvs
