The chiefs of the fifteen municipal police stations, mobile force commanders, and key officers of the Nueva Vizcaya Police Provincial Office (NVPPO) headed by Provincial Director PCol Ranser Avancy Evasco trooped to the Provincial Capitol, Bayombong on January 20, 2022 for their traditional New Year’s courtesy call on the Provincial Governor.
PD Evasco presented to Governor Carlos M. Padilla the NVPPO’s consolidated report for the year ended December 31, 2021 that details their accomplishments vis-a-vis the crime environment, insurgency situation, COVID-19 pandemic, and community outreach programs.
He also reported on the financial and various logistical support that the NVPPO had received from the Provincial Government of Nueva Vizcaya (PGNV) during the year, along with the programs, projects, and activities that the provincial police force had jointly undertaken with the latter.
On behalf of his fellow law enforcers, he reiterated their unwavering collective commitment to maintaining peace and order in the province. And as they face the challenges and uncertainties this year, which include the forthcoming national and local elections, PD Evasco said that they will again be banking on the PGNV’s usual full support.
Governor Padilla reiterated that the close consultation, coordination, and collaboration between and among the PGNV, PNP, AFP, PDEA, communities, and other stakeholders had indeed contributed much to the sustained peaceful atmosphere in the province.
He was also proud to say that he had been receiving inspiring feedback from some of his visitors and friends expressing their wish to stay in Nueva Vizcaya, not just because of its beautiful natural scenery, but also of the general impression that it is one of the most peaceful LGUs in the whole country.
The Governor then extended his appreciation and gratitude for the efforts and sacrifices of all the uniformed men and women which, according to him, are a significant contributory factor to the smooth implementation of the PGNV’s development programs, projects, and activities for the province and its people.
