In observance of Bible Month and in line with Proclamation No. 124, the Moral Recovery Program (MRP) of the Governor’s Office held a Bible Week Celebration on January 30, 2026, at the Ammungan Hall, Capitol Compound. The activity gathered employees from various provincial offices in a collective reflection on faith, values, and service.
Anchored on the theme “God’s Word Brings L.I.F.E. (Love, Integrity, Faith, Engagement) to Our Hearts, to Our Workplace, and to Our Homes”, the celebration is to deepen spiritual awareness and encourage employees to live out biblical values in their personal lives and professional responsibilities.
Two representatives from each PGNV office were invited to participate in the Bible study, fostering shared learning and fellowship across departments. Representing Governor Atty. Jose ‘Jing’ V. Gambito, Flordelina C. Granada of the PSWDO shared that the theme challenges individuals not only to read Scripture but to live their faith through everyday actions especially in the workplace. She also highlighted the power of words, reminding participants that words can either uplift or break, heal or hurt, and therefore must be spoken with love, integrity, and intention.
The culminating activity served as a meaningful reminder of the role of faith in nurturing ethical leadership, harmonious work relationships, and strong family values. Through this celebration, the PGNV reaffirmed its commitment to promoting moral formation and spiritual growth among its employees, recognizing God’s Word as a guiding force in public service and daily life. /FAA
