From July 14-15, 2026, the provincial government through the Public Employment Services Division of the Governor’s Office, partnered with the Department of Foreign Affairs for the Gayyem ti Umili: Passport on Wheels initiative, conducted at the Carlos M. Padilla Convention Center, Capitol Compound, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.

The two-day initiative will see almost 1000 pre-registered applicants avail of DFA’s passport services, with the first phase of pre-registration having taken place from June 8 to July 1, 2026, at the GO-PESD. Among the services offered are new applications for adults and minors with supervision and renewals for existing passports.

This partnership with the DFA is the latest in the efforts of Governor Atty. Jose V. Gambito to bring government services closer to the people. As previously stated by the Governor, such initiatives are intended to cut down on significant time and expense of travel to neighboring provinces with national agency outposts.

The activity is also stated to measure the demand of DFA services in the province, with the governor also having laid out plans to gain support and establish branches of other national agencies in Nueva Vizcaya.

Due to the governor’s prescient awareness of the struggles of the constituency, such services as the Passport on Wheels are strides forward for greater accessibility in availing of government services for the masses. /igmb
