
The Provincial Government of Nueva Vizcaya conducted a mass distribution of payout request grants for barangays at the Carlos M. Padilla Convention Hall on April 27, 2026. The initiative aimed to efficiently address concerns raised during previous engagements while maximizing the collective efforts of government staff and barangay officials.
Following a series of courtesy visits and consultations, the release of funds was carried out in a single, streamlined process. All barangay officials in attendance received the approved financial assistance intended to support the implementation of priority projects in their respective communities.
Governor Atty. Jose “Jing” V. Gambito personally delivered his message to the officials, reiterating his vision of transforming Nueva Vizcaya into one of the country’s most outstanding provinces. He also reaffirmed that his well-known unity sign, which stands for the letter “U” in sign language, where he clearly stated that Nueva Vizcaya shall reach its most beautiful glory through the unity with all the local government units, MLGUs and BLGUs, in the province.
The governor also candidly shared that his health had recently been affected by overwork and lack of rest, as he continues to dedicate long hours to addressing public concerns and processing documents that hold the promise of progress.
Furthermore, the mass distribution of grants highlighted the Provincial Government’s firm commitment to responsive and efficient governance. By directly releasing the requested funds, Governor Gambito ensured that priority projects across barangays can move forward without delay. His message of unity and shared responsibility resonated strongly among local officials, reinforcing the vision of a more progressive Nueva Vizcaya.
