Local based buses to cater Vizcayanos
Governor Carlos M. Padilla had requested on September 10 Atty. Martin B. Delgra III, Chairman of Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) to give consideration to the Nueva Vizcaya Transport Service Cooperative (NVTSC) to operate provincial route of public utility bus from Solano, Nueva Vizcaya to Metro Manila.
The Governor hopes for the urgent action of the LTFRB chairman as Novo Vizcayanos continue to suffer because of the utmost difficulty in getting a bus ride to and from Manila and to other destinations. The detailed route of the NVTSC would be Solano-Bayombong-San Jose-Tarlac-San Fernando-NLEX-Manila.
NVTSC is Nueva Vizcaya based and would cater to Novo Vizcayanos. It is a duly organized transport cooperative to address the perennial problem of transportation in the province.
NVTSC was one of the 4 qualified bus transport bidders to operate after the LTFRB granted the request of the PLGU to open a new route covering Solano-Manila trips. Two bus companies had already applied membership to NVTSC.
At present, NVTSC has been operating its van transport to Metro Manila with a permit from LTFRB. Fare rate with insurance at NVTSC is P630, while according to commuters using “colorum” vans charged P600 – P700. NVTSC accepts booking through North Side Travel and Tours located in Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya with mobile number 0906-2680603. #bg
