Governor Atty. Jose V. Gambito, former Governor Ruth R. Padilla, and Board Member Eunice Galima Gambol led the blessing and inauguration of the 4.8-kilometer CVR Bascaran Singian Aggub road in Solano town. This project has been a major undertaking for the past several administrations.

The concreting of this vital road section, which has garnered a total allocation of PHP 53.5 million, began during the administration of then-Governor Ruth Padilla and was continued by the late Governor Carlos Padilla. The project was finally completed under the current administration of Governor Gambito.

According to the Provincial Engineer Jerry Tan, a total of PHP 2.1 million was allocated during Mrs. Padilla’s administration, which resulted in the concreting of 256.40 meters of the road. From 2016 to 2021, the late Governor Padilla allocated PHP 20.4 million, which resulted in an additional 2,300.65 meters. His administration also allocated PHP 2.5 million for road rehabilitation and improvement and another PHP 1.5 million for flood control structures.

In 2022, the provincial government further allocated PHP 27 million for the continuation of the concreting of the said road section. This significant investment in infrastructure was completed under the watchful eye of Governor Gambito.
