PGNV Honors Innovation and Creativity of Cooperatives
Governor Atty. Jose V. Gambito receives a plaque of appreciation during the awarding ceremony of winners in the 2023 Provincial Cooperative Month Celebration held on January 5, 2024 at the Ituy Conference Room, Executive Building, Provincial Capitol.

The Provincial Government of Nueva Vizcaya (PGNV), in collaboration with the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development (PROCEDE) Office, celebrated the remarkable achievements of local cooperatives during the Cooperative Month Celebration in October 2023. The celebration culminated in an awarding ceremony held at the Ituy Conference Room, Executive Building, Provincial Capitol on January 5, 2024.

Led by Ms. Juditte L. Asuncion, the PROCEDE Office took the initiative to acknowledge outstanding participants in various activities, generously supported by cash prizes courtesy of the PGNV and the Provincial Cooperative Development Council (PCDC). The contested activities included “Most Innovative Processed Food Product” and “Best Designed Booth”, which showcased the creativity and innovation of the participating cooperatives.

During the ceremony, Governor Atty. Jose V. Gambito delivered an inspiring message to the winners, acknowledging their hard work and dedication. He also recognized the significant contributions of the Municipal Cooperative Development Officers (MCDOs) and Municipal Cooperative Development Council Chairpersons in nurturing the growth of cooperatives in the province.

Ms. Eden D. Lacar, Chairperson of the PCDC, and Mr. Arnel G. Domincel, Chairperson of the Nueva Vizcaya Credit Surety Fund (NVCSF), joined Governor Gambito and Ms. Asuncion in the awarding ceremony.

In recognition of his invaluable support during the 2023 Provincial Cooperative Month celebration, the Governor was presented with a plaque of appreciation.

Beyond the acknowledgement of achievements, the event served as a spotlight on the dynamic cooperative movement flourishing in Nueva Vizcaya. It underscored the commitment of the PGNV and the PROCEDE Office to champion cooperative development and stimulate enterprise growth in the province, and in the region as well. It not only honored the triumphs of the winners, but also emphasized the collaborative efforts propelling forward the cooperative sector in the province. #mvs
