Jail guards, HLP winners awarded

The Sanggunian Panlalawigan of Nueva Vizcaya, headed by Vice Governor Jose D. Tomas, Sr., sponsored the Provincial Government’s flag hoisting ceremony held on 11 November at the People’s Stage-Quadrangle, Provincial Capitol, Bayombong. Vice Governor Thomas presented an executive summary report on passed ordinances and resolutions, accreditation of civil society organizations (CSOs), and some updates on the Office of the Vice Governor and the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP).

Governor Carlos M. Padilla expressed his appreciation for the relatively smooth and productive blending of executive and legislative powers and processes, which are indeed helping much in the speedy execution of the programs, projects, and activities laid down under the provincial government’s PRAYERS N FAITH platform of public administration and governance. “I also have high hopes that as our two (2) branches jointly deliberate on our CY2020 Budget within this week, the general welfare of our province and people will again prevail”, he added.

Highlighting the usual Monday morning activity were the awarding of Citation Certificates to certain Provincial Jail guards for their vigilance leading to the confiscation of a contraband that was attempted to be brought inside the jail premises, and Certificates of Recognition and cash prizes to the event winners during the 6th anniversary celebration of the Healthy Lifestyle Program (HLP) of the Provincial Government, and honoring of November birthday celebrators.

Joining Governor Padilla and Vice Governor Tomas during the ceremonies were Provincial Administrator Maybelle Dumlao Sevillena, BM Patricio F. Dumlao, Jr., BM Eunice Galima Gambol, BM Florante S.Gerdan, BM Cirilo R. Galindez, BM Marizel A. Reyes, BM Byron Caringal Sevillena, and Acting Provincial Jail Warden Carmelo B. Andrada.#jlc
