GCMP leads groundbreaking of multimillion bridge in Kayapa

Governor Carlos M. Padilla on Wednesday, June 1,2022 led the groundbreaking ceremony of the P21 Million bridge project that will link four upland barangays in the municipality of Kayapa. Gov. Padilla said that construction of the Kayapa Proper bridge funded thru the 5% Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Fund of the provincial government will not only benefit daily travelers but also the farmers from the area since it will be easier for them to transport their produced.

“This project will spur socio-economic development and increase productivity of farmers and gardeners from the fours barangays of Kayapa Proper East,Kayapa Proper West,Alang Salacsac and Cabalatang Alang”,Padilla said.

Padilla instructed the Provincial Engineering’s Office headed by Provincial Engr. Nestor Velasco to expedite the implementation and execution of the said project.

The Governor also urged the local officials of Kayapa to joins hands with the provincial local government in uplifting the lives of the people through channels that will give them decent and comfortable lives that they rightfully deserve.

The groundbreaking ceremony was participated by BM Patricio Dumlao Jr, BM Delbert Tidang, NVSU OIC Pres. Ruth R. Padilla , Municipal and Barangay officials from the said town.

The Kayapa Proper Bridge has a total length of 70.22 meters and 6.10 meters wide. #RMI
