PGNV to Host Job Fair and Pre-Employment Counseling on Sept 29

The Provincial Government of Nueva Vizcaya, led by Governor Atty. Jose V. Gambito has announced a significant initiative to boost employment opportunities in the province. On September 29, a comprehensive job fair will be held at the People’s Stage of the Provincial Government. This initiative is a collaborative effort between the Public Employment Service Division and the Department of Labor and Employment Provincial Office, which is also in line with the celebration of Civil Service Week.

In addition to the job fair, a pre-employment counseling session will also be conducted which aims to prepare job seekers for the employment process, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully navigate the job market.

Governor Atty. Jose V. Gambito expressed his enthusiasm about the upcoming event, stating, “Our goal is not only to provide our citizens with job opportunities but also to ensure they are adequately prepared to enter the workforce. The pre-employment counseling will empower them, increasing their chances of securing employment.”

The Public Employment Service Division headed by Senior Labor Officer Dolly Rose Minas in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment Provincial Office, has been instrumental in organizing both the job fair and the pre-employment counseling session. Their collective efforts promise a diverse range of job opportunities, catering to various skill sets and experience levels.

Ms. Minas advised the Job seekers attending the fair to bring multiple copies of their resume and to dress in professional attire since they will have the opportunity to meet potential employers, learn about various companies, and apply for positions on the spot.

The pre-employment counseling session will cover essential topics such as resume writing, interview skills, and job search strategies. It will provide job seekers with the tools they need to successfully navigate the job market.

The Provincial Government encourages all job seekers to take advantage of this dual opportunity.
