NV wins best product presenter in the 2nd NLTE

The province of Nueva Vizcaya won best presenter in the second North Luzon Travel and Tourism Expo (NLTE), held in Camp John Hay, Baguio City, on November 25–27, 2023.

The NLTE serves as a significant assembly of pioneers in North Luzon’s tourism sector, united in their efforts to rejuvenate the local tourism industry. Its goal is to enhance the tourist value chain by uniting established and distinctive domestic tourism offerings, attractions, and services in the North Luzon region.

The Provincial Tourism and Culture Office (PTCO) transported the rich and diverse cultural tapestry of the province to the Cordilleras through captivating dance and music. The Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) Bambang Koro serenaded the audience with the soulful melodies of Hibla, the icon of the local music scene in the province, showcased the vocal excellence of Vizcayanos. Additionally, the resilient Ari-Tau Folkloric Society Inc. (AFSI), directed by Mr. Kendrick John Vila, depicted the traditional dances of the indigenous peoples in Nueva Vizcaya. With skillful performances, AFSI proudly exhibited the vibrant cultural landscape of Nueva Vizcaya, dancing to the resonant beats of gongs and the melodious tune of Nueva Vizcaya Kay Ganda.

Gambito, through the Provincial Tourism and Culture Office (PTCO) and stakeholders in highlighting the distinctive beauty and abundant cultural heritage of the province. We feel privileged to be recognized and remain committed to advancing our efforts in positioning our province as a leading tourism destination not just in Luzon but in the entire country,” said Cagayan Valley Regional Tourism Council (CVRTC) chairperson Ruth R. Padilla.
