Empowering Communities: Reflecting on the Year-End Assessment and Christmas Celebration for PWD Advocates

Jose V, Gambito’s message to the attendees of the year-end assessment cum Christmas party for the Persons with Disability Affairs Officers (PDAOs), PWD Focal Persons, and PWD Municipal Presidents of the province held on December 15, 2023 at the FTM Hall, Bayombong.

On December 15, 2023, the Governor’s Office- Persons with Disability Affairs Office, headed by Ms. Venus R. Cadabona, organized a year-end assessment cum Christmas party for the Persons with Disability Affairs Officers (PDAOs), PWD Focal Persons, and PWD Municipal Presidents of the province held at the FTM Hall, Bayombong. The event aimed to recognize the hard work and dedication of these individuals in promoting the welfare and empowerment of persons with disabilities in their respective municipalities.

The occasion, graced by the representation of Governor Jose V. Gambito through OIC-Provincial Administrator Jovito O. Celestino, commenced with an uplifting inspirational message. Governor Gambito’s words set the tone for a day of reflection, gratitude, and celebration, emphasizing the importance of unity and support for persons with disabilities.

Adding to the inspirational messages were Vice Governor Eufemia A. Dacayo and Board Member Eunice Galima-Gambol. The Municipality of Dupax del Sur received the Most Innovative Report award for their outstanding efforts in promoting the rights and welfare of people with disabilities in their community.

Following the assessment, the officers enjoyed a fun-filled Christmas party, complete with raffle prizes, games, and gift-giving. The festive atmosphere was a testament to the camaraderie and shared spirit of the officers, who work tirelessly to create a more inclusive and equitable society.
