ManCom members compliment GCMP

Members of the Management Committee (ManCom) of the Provincial Government of Nueva Vizcaya (PGNV) consisting of department heads and division chiefs under the Office of the Governor held a simple and prayerful advanced celebration of the natal day, September 19, of Governor Carlos M. Padilla.

This was undertaken immediately after the conclusion of their 2023 Budget Review held on September 15, 2022 at the Ammungan Hall, Provincial Capitol.

The ManCom members expressed their collective well-wishes through a prayer led by Ptr. Leonard Clemens L. Cadoy, Governor Padilla’s long-time legislative and executive assistant. See full text below.

Also present to greet him were erstwhile Governor and OIC-President of the Nueva Vizcaya State University, Ruth R. Padilla, and leaders of some civil society organizations.

The activity culminated with a sumptuous lunch for everyone.

Introductory message of Ptr. Leonard Clemens L. Cadoy:

Sir Governor Padilla hindi po ako kasali sa planong ito because knowing you, alam kong ayaw mo ang mga ganitong pakana pero wala po akong magagawa sapagkat ninang ko po yung isa sa may pakana nito, with the approval of Mdm. Ruth, I think, so I was also caught in between.

Be as it may, ginusto ko na din sapagkat maganda din na makasama ako sa pagdiriwang ng inyong kaarawan.

ManCom’s Prayer for Governor Carlos M. Padilla led by Ptr. Leonard Clemens L. Cadoy:

We are here today to give glory and honor unto our God for the life of our dear Governor who will be celebrating his natal day this coming September 19. We praise God for giving us a visionary leader and father whom God has used for our province.

Indeed, it is but right and proper to give glory, honor, and praise to our God for giving us a gift to lead us to where we are now. With the Governor right now are department heads and other chiefs of office who are the backbone in the implementation of programs, projects, and activities for our beloved province and people.

Psalms 90:12, Teach us to number our days so that we may gain knowledge of wisdom. And God enabled all things to abound for you so that in anything and in everything, you will abound in every good work. (1 Cor. 9:8)

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. (James 1:17)

The word of God reminds us that, in everything, we need to give thanks. Today, as Governor Padilla continues to lead our province to the future, and the executive budget review of each department na siyang magiging daan para sa hinaharap na bukas, we thank God for giving him to us and we pray that God will further use him for God’s glory in all his endeavors.

We just wanted to convey three things that we would like him to remember as he continues to lead Nueva Vizcaya, now and beyond:

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says:

1. Be joyful always. Continue to lead us with a cheerful heart, Sir.

2. Pray unceasingly. May you always continue and pursue your devoted prayer life. Ipagpatuloy po ninyo, as we’re always inspired by your leadership. Kami din po ay nananalangain para sa inyo. Let us all pray for the best in everything para sa ating Governor at sa kanyang buong administrasyon.

3. Let us develop a life full of thanksgiving and living. Whatever circumstances we have, everything happens for a reason, and we have all good reasons to give thanks and praise to the King of Kings.

Maitublak ka iti adu a gasat ken maituktuk ken mabukolan ka iti adu a bendisyon babaen ti panangsalinung ken panangtarabay ti Apo A Namarsua. Magun-od mo ti arapa-ap mo ken tarigagay ta pusom, ket agluwa ka iti adu a ragsak ken naballaigi nga panagbiag.

And as you continue your journey in leading our province to where God wants it to be, we thank God for your life and for all that has been.

Naragsak, narangpaya ken napnuan bendisyun nga panakairambak ti panagkasangay mo.

Grace-filled Happy Birthday! To God be all the glory, honor, and praise!
