The Alfonso Castañeda Emergency Rescue Team (ACERT) was declared as champion during the 2019 Regional Fire Olympics (RFO) held at the Ilagan Sports Complex, Isabela last November 13.

ACERT also won as champion in the 2018 RFO and garnered first runner-up during the National Fire Olympics in the same year.
There were five events for the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), which include Brave Heart Relay, Blitz Attack with Raising Ladder, Wild Hose Recovery, JOEM Attack, and Mr. and Miss RFO.

Mr. RFO Nueva Vizcaya Fire Officer 1 Tyron Jay Reginalde of Villaverde Fire Station won best in Provincial Attire and Miss RFO Nueva Vizcaya Fire Officer 1 Frelyn Lumauig of Bayombong Fire Station won Miss Photogenic.

Under the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (MDRRM) category, MDRRM Bayombong was the champion. Under the Barangay category, Barangay Magsaysay Emergency Response Team was first runner-up. FCF Minerals Corporation was second runner-up in the Industrial category. #krizel
