Recently crowned Saniata ti Nueva Vizcaya 2019 Nicole Jane Gimarino visited tourist destinations in the province during the VTR shoot for the upcoming Miss Millennial Philippines 2019 which will be aired on GMA 7 during its launching on August 31.

Miss Millennial Philippines is a beauty pageant that showcases the beauty and wonders of the Philippines through the millennial generation. It emphasizes the unique culture and tradition of the province or city each candidate represents.

Throughout the pageant, candidates shall provide a tour of must see destinations, showcase local delicacies and promote the world renowned Filipino hospitality.

Starting from the south, Gimarino visited and experienced the historic Balete Pass National Shrine in Sta. Fe which served as battlefield for Filipino and American soldiers against the Japanese during the World War II.

Aside from its breath taking view and the cold breeze, it also offer zip line adventure that provides a perspective of the lush green forest of Balete Pass.

Gimarino also visited the soft broom makers in Sta. Fe which earned popularity as one of the best-selling indigenous products in the area by commuters, local and foreign tourists as gifts or souvenirs.

Adventurous and fearless, Gimarino also conquered the 5th longest cave in the Philippines located in Kasibu that runs about 4 kilometers, and is considered as the Geologists’ Paradise due to rare kinds of calcite formations. It has also various chambers and tunnels with unique stalagmites, stalactites, rock formations, and other speleothems.

She also visited the Provincial Capitol of Nueva Vizcaya which is tagged as the Luneta of the North and Shrine of the Black Nazarene located beside the Saint Louis Beltran church in Solano.

Gimarino also prepared the famous “Pansit Buko” in Bagabag which is boasted to be one of the provinces’ delicacy.

She also visited one of the five living Gaddang weavers in the province and learned the traditional Gaddang dance.

Ms. Saniata ti Nueva Vizcaya 2017 Chealsea Claro from the municipality of Diadi was the first Vizcayano candidate to join Miss Millennial Philippines in 2017 followed by Ms. Saniata ti Nueva Vizcaya 2018 Femush Lyssa Maynes from the municipality of Solano. #cqc
