PLGU to develop more roads
“We do not want to have what we call a dead-end barangay where the road ends and one has to go back to where he came from.” Governor Carlos M. Padilla was quoted saying during the Medical Mission held at Barangay Cabuluan in the Municipality of Villaverde on January 25.
“Our roads must not end. Every barangay must be inter-connected even to the other municipalities so that our agriculture and economy would live. That is why during the term of former Governor Ruth R. Padilla and with the help of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP), headed by Vice Governor Epifanio LD Galima Jr.; road projects were implemented in different parts of the province including the roads that connects the barangays of Villaverde.
Vice Governor Galima on the other hand said, “The SP has approved a circumferential road that will connect Barangay Cabuluan to Barangay Comonal in Solano and to the Municipality of Ambaguio down to the Municipality of Bayombong. With the opening and cementing of roads, our agricultural products in the uplands are easily brought down for sale in the market. Hardly reached barangays are now easily visited. This shows the province is progressing and we must go on.” #bg
