Prior to the actual engagement in employment, the beneficiaries were provided with basic orientation on safety, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the form of a T-shirt and hat, enrollment in group micro-insurance, and TUPAD ID.

The TUPAD program, which translates to “Emergency Employment for Disadvantaged or Displaced Workers”, has given its beneficiaries Php 420 per day for 15 days, the program has not only granted financial support but has also helped reinvigorate local economies. As unemployment rates soared and daily livelihoods are at risk, the program has played an important role in stabilizing the lives of those who have been adversely affected by the recent economic challenges.

The Provincial Government of Nueva Vizcaya and DOLE have been lauded for their concerted efforts in swiftly addressing the socio-economic needs of their constituents. By collaborating to implement the TUPAD program, they have demonstrated a commitment to the well-being of their residents and the overall prosperity of the region.

Local leaders and program beneficiaries alike have expressed their gratitude for the support provided by TUPAD. One beneficiary shared, “This program has not only helped me financially but has also allowed me to contribute to my community. It’s a win-win situation that inspires hope for the future.”
